Leilehua trained in the Hsie-i style of Chinese watercolor painting and uses it to depict the island images which surrounded her as she grew up. The painting at left is in a private collection in Canada, however, the subject remains one of Leilehua's favorites.

Selected original works are available for purchase and will appear on this page when available.

Reproductions are available in a variety of formats from prints, to coffee cups, to clothing at the on-line store, Hawaiian Cards.

Please respect the rights of Leilehua and other artists - do not steal their artwork by using it without permission. You wouldn't shoplift these paintings if you walked into her store. Please be just as honest on the web.

Fish are a popular subject in Hawai`i, and Leilehua was inspired by the many fish her parents and grandparents raised in the large tanks and ponds at their homes.

As a hula dancer, Leilehua finds innumerable inspiration in the implements and themes of the dance.

The native species of Hawai`i are dear to her heart, and she has started depicting them with her brush. At right, `Elepaio, a kinolau of the goddess Lea, and friend to canoe carvers.
