The painting at left is in a private collection in Hawai`i. It was inspired by the deep-space images captured by the telescopes on Mauna Kea, and is titled Wakea Drumming. Wakea is the Sky-Father progenitor of the Hawaiian people. Selected original works are available for purchase and will appear on this page when available. Reproductions are available in a variety of formats from prints, to coffee cups, to clothing at the on-line store, Hawaiian Cards. Please respect the rights of Leilehua and other artists - do not steal their artwork by using it without permission. You wouldn't shoplift these paintings if you walked into her store. Please be just as honest on the web. |

The two oil paintings at right were used to
illustrate a lecture by Manu Josiah on the sea battle strategies of
Kamehameha Pai`ea. The images reflect Leilehua's love of both the sea
and history. |

At left, Leilehua tries to capture the special tenderness between a young father and his small son. Titled Kamalei, the painting illustrates the lei which the Hawaiian people consider most precious. |
